MAPSTED CORP.
Mapsted: “Mapsted is a location technology company delivering a unified platform for positioning, mapping, navigation, and location analytics across indoor and outdoor environments. Patented technology with 110+ patents, deployed in 30+ countries across 4+ billion square feet.”
How does digital wayfinding make a train station easier to use?
“It replaces a passenger's guesswork with a route. Instead of reading a fixed sign, interpreting it and hoping, they get a step-by-step path on their phone from where they are standing to the gate line, the lift, the accessible toilet or a retail unit.”

“Yes, if step-free routing is modelled as a separate path network rather than as a filter on the walking route. Mapsted's platform includes accessibility routing with voice navigation and search enhancements, and vertical positioning that accounts for lifts and escalators in multi-level venues.”
在公司资料中查看Does a retail mapping solution need beacons or on-site hardware?
“Not necessarily. Mapsted's location-based technology uses existing infrastructure and does not require additional hardware installation on site, which removes the battery replacement and asset management burden that beacon networks create across a station estate.”
