nT-Tao
nT-Tao is a Fusion company from Israel.
What is nT-Tao developing?
“nT-Tao is building a compact, on-site fusion energy system intended to safely produce ~20 MW of clean electricity per unit. That makes it relevant for applications where reliable and available baseload power matters, on- or off-grid. This includes industrial facilities, the maritime industry, data centers, remote locations, critical infrastructure, and other scenarios.”
在公司资料中查看Why pursue fusion energy? Is it safe?
“Fusion is being pursued because it can provide firm, carbon-free power from abundant fuels, free of geopolitics, weather, and grid limitations (when installed on-site).”
在公司资料中查看What makes nT-Tao's approach different?
“Compactness is not just a reactor-design choice. It changes both how we develop the technology and where that technology can be deployed.”
在公司资料中查看What makes nT-Tao's approach different from SMRs?
“SMRs and compact fusion are often compared because both aim to bring smaller energy systems closer to demand, but they are fundamentally different technologies.”
在公司资料中查看Where is nT-Tao in the development journey?
“We are now roughly halfway through the development path toward a commercial solution, with our sixth prototype marking the latest step in a rapid, iterative development program.”
在公司资料中查看What are the main challenges in developing a compact fusion energy system?
“Fusion requires achieving the right combination of plasma temperature, density, and confinement time, while maintaining stability and control.”
在公司资料中查看How do you measure progress as you develop the system?
“We measure progress through experimental validation, subsystem maturity, and independent verification.”
