Do you warranty your repairs?
“Standard appliance repairs carry a 3-month warranty, with one year on inverter boards. Refrigeration repairs carry one year of parts and labor coverage, with 90 days on consumables.”
What warranty comes with a refrigerator sealed-system rebuild?
“A full refrigerator sealed-system rebuild carries a 2 year parts and labor warranty. That is longer than a standard repair because it is a bigger job and we stand behind it.”
What payment methods do you accept?
“Card, check, ACH, and HouseCall Pro online checkout.”
Do you offer financing?
“For HVAC installations, financing is available on approved credit. For repairs, payment is due on completion, by card, check, ACH, or online checkout.”
What warranty applies to appliance repairs?
“Appliance repairs carry a warranty from 3 months to 2 years depending on the type of repair: 3 months for standard repairs, 1 year for inverter boards, 1 year for a partial sealed-system repair, and 2 years for a full sealed-system rebuild. Work without replacement parts, such as a refrigerant top-off without a repair, may carry no warranty.”
What warranty applies to HVAC work?
“HVAC repairs carry a 1-year warranty. If the problem comes back within warranty, we come back. New HVAC systems include 10 years of manufacturer parts coverage and 2 years of labor coverage. Labor coverage can extend to 10 years only with an active maintenance plan at $290 per visit, two visits per year.”
How do you handle schedule changes and repair timelines?
“We tell you about any schedule change as soon as we learn of it. Repair timelines are agreed up front.”
My outdoor AC unit is silent but the indoor fan runs. Is it a big repair?
“Usually not. Usually the run capacitor has failed or the contactor is pitted. We test with a meter, replace the part, and verify the compressor and fan motor both pull correct amps before we leave. Some companies quote this symptom as a system problem. It is a small part.”
Can you just top off the refrigerant?
“No. A system that needs refrigerant has a leak, and topping it off bills you for the same call again in two weeks. We are EPA Section 608 Universal certified: we find the leak with nitrogen and electronic detection, repair it, and weigh the charge back to the nameplate with a scale.”
What does the AC diagnostic cost?
“The on-site diagnosis is $99 and is credited toward the repair. You get a written estimate with one total price after diagnosis and before any work starts. We verify completed work with a temperature split across the coil and a pressure reading.”
