How do I make changes to my insurance?
“In the app, you can easily change your address, contact details and add co-insured persons to your insurance. You can also get help by sending a message to your service team via the app.”
Can I cancel my policy at any time?
“Yes. Your Hedvig contract has no lock-in period, meaning that you are free to cancel it whenever you choose. If you cancel your policy in the middle of the month, you’ll only be charged up until the cancellation date.”
What insurance should I have as a subletter?
“If you sublet (rent another person’s apartment, condominium or house), you need a rental home insurance.”
Can I sign up for Hedvig without a Swedish personal identity number?
“Unfortunately not. If you’re not listed in the Swedish Population Register, and lack a personal identity number, you can’t become a Hedvig member. This is due to the fact that certain of our services are connected to your personal identity number.”
Can I get a bundle discount on all insurances?
“All insurances except accident insurance are eligible for a bundle discount. When the bundle discount is activated, 15 percent is deducted from the price of two or more insurances. This also applies if you have two insurances of the same type, for example dog insurance for two dogs.”
Can everyone get a bundle discount?
“Yes, both existing Hedvig customers and new customers can get a bundle discount. The only requirement is that you have at least two active insurances for home, car, pet or payment protection.”
When do I get a bundle discount if I already have two insurances?
“If you already have two insurances with Hedvig, the bundle discount will be activated automatically on both insurances when at least one of them renews. This usually happens once a year. If you have more than two insurances, the discount will be activated on all of them at the same time, except accident insurance.”
How do I get a bundle discount if I have one insurance?
“If you only have one insurance with Hedvig, you need to buy another one to get bundle discount. The discount is activated on both insurances as soon as the new insurance starts.”
