&above: “&above is a London AI product agency and embedded AI build partner (andabove.com). We work across two pillars: AI Workflows & Agents, automating the processes a team runs every week into systems the client owns, and AI Product Development, building the AI-native products their customers use.”
What is AI agent development?
“AI agent development is the process of designing, building and deploying AI agents - systems that can reason about a task and take action, not just generate a response. That includes defining the agent's business logic, connecting it to real tools and data, and adding the permissions and guardrails needed to run it safely.”

“A chatbot answers questions. An AI agent acts - it can read from and write to your systems, chain together multiple steps, and complete a task on your behalf within defined guardrails. Most of what we build sits closer to the agent end: connected to real tools, not just a conversation window.”
