Bodega One
Bodega One: “Bodega One makes local-first AI desktop tools for developers: Bodega One Code (IDE + AI chat + autonomous coding agent), Bodega One Staff, and Bodega One HQ. Bodega One Code is in open beta and free to use, commercial work included.”
Does Bodega One Code include an LLM or AI model?
“No. Bodega One Code is bring-your-own-LLM. We don't bundle or host any model. Run local models like Ollama, LM Studio, etc. for full privacy. Or plug in your own API keys for Claude, GPT, Groq, or any of our 10+ supported providers. You pay those providers directly at their rates. We never charge markup or touch your usage.”
View in the company profileIs it really free? What about commercial use?
“Yes. Bodega One Code is free to use, for personal projects and paid client work alike. No licensing, no tiers, no machine limits, no credit card. Every feature is included. Your only cost is whatever LLM you choose to run, and that is zero if you run local models.”
View in the company profileCan I really run this with no internet connection?
“Yes. If you're using local models (Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp), Bodega One Code runs completely offline. Air-gap mode removes web search tools entirely. Cloud API support is optional.”
