What types of meniscal tears can be repaired using the Infinity AIM™?
“Infinity AIM™ is versatile enough to accommodate a variety of meniscal tear patterns, including longitudinal, bucket-handle, horizontal, oblique, and transverse tears.”
View in the company profileHow does Infinity AIM™ help prevent iatrogenic injury during deployment?
“The Infinity AIM™ incorporates multiple safety features: an adjustable retractable sheath that protects anatomy during joint entry, a blunt push rod that extends past the needle after deployment to shield tissue during tensioning, and a tapered PEEK suture cutter that protects the femoral condyle.”
View in the company profileHow does the piercing diameter of the Infinity AIM™ compare to other devices on the market?
“Mechanical testing shows Infinity AIM™ reduces the piercing diameter by up to 36% compared to leading all-inside devices due to its hidden implant design.”
View in the company profileWhat curvature options are available for the needle?
“Infinity AIM™ is available in two configurations: a 25-degree standard curve and a 15-degree reverse curve.”
View in the company profileWhat type of suture and implant material does the Infinity AIM™ use?
“It uses UHMWPE Hi-Fi® suture paired with a friction-locking PEEK implant mechanism for stable knotless fixation.”
View in the company profileHow does the Infinity AIM™ resist suture creep?
“A knotless friction-locking design minimizes cyclic displacement to maintain tissue approximation and repair integrity.”
View in the company profileHow does the in-joint tensioning mechanism work?
“A built-in tensioning wheel allows surgeons to adjust suture tension inside the joint with one hand.”
View in the company profileIs the in-joint tensioning mechanism the only way to apply suture tension?
“No. The suture cutter can also function as a knot pusher for manual tensioning.”
View in the company profileWhat are the benefits of a knotless repair?
“Knotless repair simplifies procedures, improves efficiency, enables consistent compression, and reduces implant bulk.”
