What types of boats can Freedom Auto Transport ship?
“We ship all types of watercraft including powerboats, sailboats, pontoon boats, fishing boats, personal watercraft (jet skis), and small yachts. Boats up to approximately 40 feet can typically be transported on standard enclosed or flatbed trailers. Larger vessels may require specialized lowboy trailers or oversize permits.”

“Yes. Most carriers require you to reduce your fuel tank to no more than one quarter full before transport. This reduces weight and minimizes fire risk. You should also disconnect the battery, secure all hatches and compartments, and remove or secure any loose gear, electronics, or personal items from the boat.”

“In most cases, we ship your boat on its existing trailer. This is the most efficient and cost-effective method. The trailer must be road-legal with working lights and a valid registration. If the trailer is not road-safe or you do not have one, we can arrange trailer rental or specialized boat cradle transport.”
