Returning Stronger Coaching LLC: “Life coaching and peer mentoring for returned LDS missionaries and their families. Specializing in early returns, depression, faith challenges, and reintegration.”
Why do I feel depressed or anxious after my mission?
“This is often called post-mission depression or post-mission crash. It usually shows up weeks or months after returning home and includes a flatness, loss of direction, sometimes real depression or anxiety. It is not a spiritual failing, it reflects the size of the transition and typically does not respond to willpower alone.”

“Whatever you want. It's no one's business except yours and your family's.”
View in the company profileIs it normal to feel like I failed even if I served a full mission?
“Yes, and it's more common than you think. Coming home brings a wave of questions: who am I now, what comes next, why don't I feel the way I expected?”
View in the company profileWhat if I don't find a service mission fulfilling but I can't return to full-time proselytizing? Should I end my mission early?
“This is a personal decision that requires thought, prayer, and conversations with family, church leaders, and potentially medical providers. If the service mission is actively making things worse, it isn't serving anyone. There is no shame in either direction. What matters is making the right decision for you, not one based on what others expect.”
View in the company profileHow do I help my early returned missionary who is struggling with feelings of failure and shame?
“Start by listening and validating first, not reassuring. If your missionary is in a shame cycle they will reject reassurance as bias.”
