LoopUp
LoopUp: “LoopUp is a global provider of Microsoft Teams telephony for multinational enterprises, delivering Operator Connect, Direct Routing and Bring Your Own Carrier across 100+ countries under one contract, portal and 24/7 support team.”
What is Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) for Microsoft Teams?
“BYOC lets you use Microsoft Teams telephony while keeping your existing carrier for direct inward dialing (DID) numbers and domestic calls. LoopUp connects your carrier to Teams via its managed Direct Routing platform.”
View in the company profileWhen should I use BYOC instead of Operator Connect?
“BYOC is ideal when you want Teams telephony in a country not yet supported by Operator Connect, when regulatory constraints prevent changing carriers, or when you have existing carrier contracts you can't exit immediately.”
View in the company profileDo I have to change my current phone provider to use Teams calling?
“No. With BYOC you retain your current provider for local numbers and domestic calling, and simply add Microsoft Teams telephony on top through LoopUp.”
View in the company profileWho manages the session border controllers (SBCs) with BYOC?
“LoopUp manages the SBCs for you, deployment, configuration, updates and monitoring, either locally or in the cloud, so you don't need in-house telephony infrastructure expertise.”
View in the company profileCan I route international calls over LoopUp's network with BYOC?
“Yes. You can optionally route international calls over LoopUp's global voice network to reduce cost and improve quality, where this is permitted.”
