Does Cuisinart sell directly to promotional products distributors?
“Cuisinart, owned by Conair Corporation, does not sell directly to most promotional distributors. Instead, Conair licenses select ASI-registered suppliers to produce co-branded Cuisinart promotional goods. Distributors purchase through those licensed suppliers rather than opening a direct Cuisinart wholesale account.”
View in the company profileWhat credentials do I need before applying?
“You typically need an active ASI, PPAI, or SAGE distributor number, a resale certificate, an EIN, and a business bank account. Some licensed suppliers also request annual revenue documentation, a website with your promotional catalog, and proof of end-buyer client relationships before opening accounts.”
View in the company profileHow long does authorization take?
“Onboarding through a licensed Cuisinart promotional supplier usually takes one to three weeks. This covers account application review, credit terms setup, and product training. Direct brand licensing arrangements with Conair take significantly longer, often three to six months of negotiation.”
View in the company profileCan I sell Cuisinart products on Amazon as a promotional distributor?
“No. Cuisinart maintains strict channel controls and typically prohibits authorized promotional distributors from reselling on Amazon, eBay, or unauthorized third-party marketplaces. Violating these terms usually terminates the account and may trigger claims under the brand's minimum advertised price and channel policies.”
