Why is my Porsche AC not blowing cold?
“The most common causes are low refrigerant (leak), a failing compressor, or a blend door actuator stuck in the heat position. We diagnose the root cause with PIWIS III and pressure testing before recommending repairs — a simple recharge won't fix a leak or a mechanical failure.”
View in the company profileWhat refrigerant does my Porsche use?
“Most Porsches through 2016 use R-134a. Models from 2017 onward use R-1234yf, which is more environmentally friendly but more expensive. We service both systems with the correct refrigerant and charge weight.”
View in the company profileWhy does my Porsche Cayenne make a clicking noise from the dashboard?
“This is almost always a failing blend door actuator — a common issue on Cayenne and Panamera. The actuator motor clicks as it tries to move a stuck blend door. Replacement requires partial dashboard disassembly and PIWIS calibration of the new actuator.”
View in the company profileHow much does Porsche AC service cost?
“A refrigerant recharge runs $200-$400 depending on the refrigerant type. Compressor replacement: $1,500-$3,000. Blend door actuator: $800-$1,500. We provide a detailed estimate after diagnosis — the diagnostic fee is applied toward the repair if you proceed.”
