What type of solar panels do you sell?
“Midsummer’s solar panels consist of thin-film solar cells of the CIGS type, which makes them thin, light, flexible and discreet. The solar panels are placed on different types of roofing material, e.g. sheet metal, roof tiles or roofing felt, where the end product becomes a discreet solar roof.”
View in the company profileWhere are your solar panels produced?
“Our solar cells are manufactured at our production facilities in Järfälla, Sweden, and Bari, Italy, using our proprietary DUO system, the world’s most prevalent production system for flexible CIGS solar cells. After manufacturing, the solar cells are assembled into complete solar panels at the same locations.”
View in the company profileHow are your solar panels different to others on the market?
“Our products are manufactured in our own facilities in Järfälla outside Stockholm and in Bari, Italy. For our model Midsummer BOLD-S, we also cooperate with OEM manufacturers in Asia.”
View in the company profileAre your solar panels building integrated?
“Our solar panels are mounted onto the surface, following the contours of the roof and are on top of the roof’s waterproofing layer. In other words, they are integrated with the design, but not integrated technically, which means that they can be applied to existing building materials. The result is a discreet solar roof.”
